What is NetHitch
A hitch is where two things click together.
Net is where we all live now: group chats, feeds, late-night voice notes. Hitch is what happens when two people catch on to each other.
Put them together and you get a place to meet someone new, whether you are after a best friend, a plus-one or just a person who laughs at the same things you do.
We started NetHitch because meeting people online still feels like hard work. Too much performing, too much waiting, and too many apps that treat a new friendship and a first date like two different planets. We think they belong in the same place.

Pick your lane
Friends, dates, or a bit of both.
Most people want some of each, so that is how we are building it. Start with whichever feels right today.
What we believe
Dating and friendship, minus the performance.
Real beats perfect
A profile is not a CV and a chat is not an interview. Show up as you are and find people who like that person.
Slow is allowed
No countdown timers on your feelings. Take a minute to think of a reply. Take a week, even.
Safe from the start
Meeting new people should feel good, not risky. Safety is part of the plan from day one, not a patch we add later.
Friendship counts
Making a friend is not a consolation prize. It gets the same care as finding a date, and the same room in the app.
Sealed until launch
A few surprises are locked away.
Everything we are building is meant to be felt, not explained in a bullet list. We are not showing it yet. Tap a card if you dare.

Good questions.
What is NetHitch?
NetHitch is an upcoming app and website for making friends and dating, built for Gen Z and open to anyone aged 18 or over. We are in pre-launch with a working prototype, and pre-registration is open now.
Is NetHitch a dating app or a friend-making app?
Both. Lots of people want new friends and new dates, and the two overlap more than most apps admit. You choose what you are here for, whether that is a plus-one, a best friend or a bit of both.
When does NetHitch launch?
We do not have a public launch date yet. We would rather launch it right than launch it fast. Pre-registered members will be the first to know when that changes.
How do I spell NetHitch? I keep seeing Net Hitch and Hitchnet.
It is one word: N-E-T-H-I-T-C-H. People also write it as Net Hitch, Hitchnet, Hitch Net or Netitch, and every one of those should lead you to us. Our website is nethitch.com.
